Welcome to the w4mp training section. Here you will find details of training for the staff of MPs provided by the House of Commons and other training companies. Please note that these courses are not open to the general public.
Regional Events for UK Parliamentary Constituencies
Following the success of the initial constituency training days in Manchester, Exeter, Perth and Belfast, several more have been arranged. The next event will be held in Birmingham on 2 December. A regional event is also planned for Gateshead (16 December), with events in Doncaster and Norwich to follow in 2015.
Following a series of interviews and focus-groups, one message that has come through loud and clear is the need for us to visit you near the constituency. This is to reach people who can’t travel to Westminster easily for training or induction, and to hear from you about what you need from our services.
Lunch will be provided, and a chance to network with us and other constituency office staff in your region. IPSA has recognised the day as a training event; as such the costs of travel are eligible to be reclaimed through allowances in the normal way.
Please register your interest by 27 November at firstname.lastname@example.org. More details will be provided.
